Editorial team and method

Tom Peeters has documented the Belgian market since 2014 and puts every operator to the test with an emphasis on dice games. Writes from Antwerpen.

We are paid through affiliate links; the assessment is not altered by it. The black list is named even when it costs us.

How we test. we register like any other player, start with a deposit of our own money, request a withdrawal and time every step. We check the operator against the Gaming Commission's white and black lists and go over the small print word by word.

Player protection in numbers

Player protection in Belgium is arranged more firmly than players tend to expect and it is built that way on purpose. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling.

Self-exclusion in Belgium is handled centrally, through EPIS: a single request is enough to stay out everywhere at once. The entry point is the Gaming Commission. Under-21s have been shut out of casino, hall and betting since September 2024; for the National Lottery 18 remained the rule. It applies online and on-site.
