What it comes down to with Kim Vegas: Kim Vegas is a foreign operator without a Belgian licence. For that reason, this is worth it as long as you respect the limits.

What you play on
Kim Vegas does not have to respect the Belgian assortment framework: slots from dozens of studios plus live tables. The price is losing EPIS, oversight and the weekly limit.
What sets a Belgian hall apart are the dice games: open The Safe, Open The Box, Infinity Dice, those titles barely exist outside Belgium, which explains the gap with an international casino.
What the law imposes
Belgium regulates player protection more tightly than the Netherlands or France with concrete consequences for your account. Each site automatically applies a €200 weekly ceiling. Reducing it needs no waiting time, raising happens neither easily nor instantly.
Exclusion runs centrally through the EPIS register: the exclusion applies instantly across the whole licensed landscape. Unlicensed sites are not connected to it. Since 1 September 2024 the minimum age is 21 for casino, gaming hall and betting; the National Lottery is the exception at 18. The bar is statutory, not a house rule.

On payments, Belgium leaves little choice: the deposit runs through Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, and what comes out lands on your account. Bancontact Pay is the name the Payconiq app has carried since March 2026.
Bancontact Pay caps at €1500 per transaction and €2500 per day. The stake lands without delay; withdrawing takes as a rule one to three banking days, plus the time the operator itself takes to process the request.
From signup to first payout
The start is recognisable at every operator: name, date of birth and documents, before anything is paid out. An ID and something that evidences your address usually suffice. Make sure account holder and player are the same person.
Dutch or French is not guaranteed, and complaining to the Commission is not an option. Archive what you receive about deposits and withdrawals; in a dispute over a payout those are the only documents that count.

What players ask us
The statutory standard is €200 per week. Going down is always allowed, going up is not. The limit applies per site, not across all sites. Raising it always takes time, even when the request goes through.
Not for the player. Belgium taxes the operator, not the winner. This applies to every licensed operator. No declaration is therefore needed.
Always work the wagering through: 35x on a €50 bonus means €1,750 of turnover before a payout. The terms usually sit at the bottom of the bonus page. Bonus money and own money are often counted separately.
From 21. The bar rose in September 2024, only the lottery stayed at 18. This is not a guideline but a statutory limit. The 2024 reform aligned every form of play.
Bancontact is accepted almost everywhere for deposits, not for withdrawals. There is no route back to Bancontact — that goes via the bank. A different name on the account blocks the payout.
EPIS is the central register — registering is enough to stay out everywhere at once. The request is free of charge. The exclusion cannot be undone straight away.
